The San Dieguito River Park is pleased to announce the public opening of the Coastal Ranger Station!
This smart, modern, and efficient maintenance and wetland education facility is off of Via de la Valle, tucked just east of San Andres Dr., overlooking the San Dieguito Lagoon.
Come join the festivities as we celebrate the Grand Opening with activities for all ages and interests. Take a walk with local bird expert, Phil Pryde, to learn about our many migrating birds. Learn how the lagoon habitat works as a filtering system to purify water as it flows from the San Dieguito Watershed to the ocean. Enjoy pizza and live music while making Native American jewelry, nature crafts and meeting native animals from this region.
