Help Us Get to 71 Miles!

Home - News and Announcements - Help Us Get to 71 Miles!

October 23, 2023
Posted by: Shawna Anderson

Currently we are 21 miles short of realizing the 71-mile vision of the Coast to Crest Trail from Del Mar to Julian!

  • 49 miles completed and 1 mile slated for construction in 2024
  • 8 miles in process or partnering with other organizations
  • 13 miles – HELP CLOSE THE GAP to make the Coast to Crest Trail a Reality!
  • 71-mile Vision Completed!

Two major segments – East San Pasqual Valley to Boden Canyon and Lake Sutherland to Santa Ysabel – totaling 13 miles – are the missing pieces.

We’ve raised $2 Million to help close these critical gaps in the Coast to Crest Trail. These donations are funding planning and design to a shovel-ready stage to qualify for construction grants.

You can help Close the Gaps by contributing to the Get-to-71 Campaign – a joint fundraiser by the SDRP Joint Powers Authority and the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy!

MAKE THE 71-MILE CONTINUOUS MULTI-USE COAST TO CREST TRAIL A REALITY!
