There is still much to learn about the wildlife and ecology within the San Dieguito River Park. Our region offers rich and diverse habitats for research to be conducted. Whether it’s on behalf of a agency, for college/university research, or a non-profit, we strongly encourage research projects at the River Park.
If you are interested in partnering with the River Park for a research project, please read the Agreement Regarding Access to the San Dieguito River Park for Research and submit the Application at the end of the agreement.
Here are some past student research projects:

The River Park has also partnered with teachers and professors looking for hands-on field experiences for their students. Whether it’s a semester-long curriculum or a single lab experiment, the River Park welcomes you to partner with us. There are opportunities available for all levels of education.
