Open sunrise to sunset
From I-15, exit Via Rancho Parkway.
Go east on Via Rancho Parkway.
Turn right on San Pasqual Rd.
Turn right on San Pasqual Valley Rd. (Hwy. 78).
Continue 5.8 miles past the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
USE CAUTION and turn left at the wooden sign into the staging area.
Trail Access:
At the northwest corner of the staging area to the left of the interpretive kiosk.
Notes:
No facilities.
No horse trailers.
