Highland Valley Trail Staging Area
Managed by San Dieguito River Park
Open 6am – 6pm (October 1 – March 31) and 6am – 7:30pm (April 1 – September 30)
From I-15, exit West Bernardo Dr./Pomerado Rd.
Go east on Pomerado Rd.
Turn left on Highland Valley Rd.
Immediately turn right at the wooden sign into the staging area, across from Big Trees Nursery.
Trail Access:
On the east side of the staging area, to the left of the interpretive kiosk between the trees.
There is also a short trail through a habitat garden around the south and west sides of the
staging area.
Notes:
No facilities.
