Next weekend on Sunday July 18th the San Dieguito River Park will be hosting a one day event called the Belgian Waffle Ride! The River Parks Coast to Crest trail system from the Del Dios Gorge staging area to the San Pasqual Valley staging are will be temporarily closed for the day during this event for the safety of the public and the riders in the event. Please do not enter the trails during this time.
All staging areas along the route will also be closed for the day, these include the Del Dios Gorge staging area, Hernandez Hideaway staging area, Sunset staging area, Old Coach staging area, Ysabel Creek staging area and 78/Bandy Canyon staging area.
The Bernardo Bay staging area, Highland Valley staging area and associated trails on the south side of the park will not be effected and will remain open for public use. For information and locations on trails visi our Trails page.
