Roaming with Rangers

Join San Diegiuto River Park Ranger Nico on a hike around Piedras Pintadas in Rancho Bernardo.

Ranger Nico will lead your walk along the Piedras Pintadas Trail, offering insights into both the natural environment and cultural history of the Rancho Bernardo area. Throughout the hike, he will highlight local plants and wildlife, sharing the Kumeyaay people’s longstanding connection to and stewardship of this land. Their traditional territory stretched from the Pacific Ocean east to the sand dunes of the Colorado River, and from north of San Diego down past Ensenada in Mexico.

NOTE: Roaming with Rangers is a monthly event, taking place on the 3rd Saturday of the month, however, the location changes each month. This is a free event, but we encourage you to make a reservation on Eventbrite.
